Loyalty-to-accommodation trading platform

Business requirements

As a high-level business requirement, we had to build a trading platform where users were able to purchase or sell a custom virtual currency and secure hotel stays across partner properties. Owning a minimum of 1000 coins that are being kept for 1 year as a deposit, would give the owner the right to stay at any of the enrolled hotel units.

Technical solution

To power real-time trading (similarities with how the stock market works), we built an API-driven platform with low-latency API operations and a powerful user interface optimized for mobile and desktop trading.
