Business requirements

The customer wanted to launch a loyalty-to-accommodation trading platform where users can buy and sell a custom virtual currency and use it to secure hotel stays at partner properties. Holding a minimum of 1,000 coins for one year as a deposit grants the right to stay at any enrolled hotel unit, turning loyalty into a flexible accommodation benefit.

They needed a secure, real-time platform that combines trading capabilities (similar to a stock market experience) with clear rules for deposits, balances, and redemption, all wrapped in a user-friendly experience for both mobile and desktop users.

Technical solution

We engineered an API-driven platform designed for low-latency operations and real-time trading. The backend exposes a robust set of APIs for order placement, wallet management, deposits, and settlement, while the frontend delivers a responsive interface optimized for both mobile and desktop trading.
