Business requirements

Communities evolve quickly, but civic participation often struggles to keep up. To create the changes people want in their neighborhoods, citizens need accessible ways to discover initiatives, get involved, and see the impact of their actions.

Our NGO partner needed a digital platform to identify promising local initiatives, connect motivated citizens with opportunities, and amplify small actions into visible improvements. The goal was to build a civic engagement and innovation platform that strengthens local democracy by making it easier to launch, support, and grow community projects.

Technical solution

Through workshops and conversations with stakeholders, we focused on solving real civic engagement challenges instead of building yet another generic NGO portal. We designed and developed a custom web platform where citizens can easily discover local initiatives, collaborate with others, and track progress on community projects.

Every design and product decision was grounded in stakeholder input, resulting in an intuitive interface that matches how the organization works and how citizens naturally engage with local causes.

Time to market

Working in tight feedback loops with the organization, we delivered a production-ready platform in 4 weeks, going live on November 17th, 2023. The platform now serves as a digital hub for civic involvement, helping NGOs and communities turn local ideas into coordinated action and measurable impact.
